The Camberwell Composers' Collective is Mark Bowden, Emily Hall,
Chris Mayo, Anna Meredith and Charlie Piper. The thread that binds
them is their desire to bring music to new audiences in new
ways. Since its launch in April 2004, the Collective has
thrived as an opportunity to create music without boundaries and
present exciting concerts which transcend questions of style and
genre to focus on connecting with audiences as directly as
possible.

As well as performing their own music, the Collective have joined
forces with many extraordinary musicians including Huw Watkins,
Sarah Nicolls, Corrado Canonici, Endymion and Oliver Coates.
The Collective highly value the visual impact of their performances
and have presented their works alongside film, animation and live
drawing by artists such as BAFTA-winning Ian Gouldstone, Anthony
Comley, Max Hattler, Eleanor Meredith and video collective Flat-e.
Together with their regular gigs at the Crypt in Camberwell, they
have presented their concerts at venues and festivals nationwide
including the iF Festival, Aldeburgh Festival, Faster than Sound,
the National Portrait Gallery, The Bongo Club and Koko.
